Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez an American/Cuban TV arbitrator who works for Caso Cerrado, is the host of Ana Polo Rules. Ana, who was born in Havana Cuba with her mother and father, both at two years old, moved to Miami together with them. In Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo is the host of the well-known Telemundo program "Caso Cerrado" which is the first Spanish language program nominated for an Daytime Entertainment Emmy(r) Award, and it was named the number one Spanish-language program at 4pm across important demos. Polo is a native of Cuba and was born 11 April 1959. The actress attended Florida International University and graduated in the field of political science. In the following years she received her PhD degree in law at the University of Miami. Following her PhD from the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for over 20 years. Polo first appeared on television in 2001, on Telemundo's Sala de Parejas. She took part in courts shows which tapped into her expertise. Literature Awards She wrote Los Hijos Muertos in 1958. The novel received the Critic's Prize and it was also awarded the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute arrived in the United States of America from Spain in the year 1960. Polo, who is also a breast cancer patient and survivor of the disease, is often quoted about the cause she is fighting. She has advocated for LGBT rights for a long time. She graduated at her University of Miami School of Law in 1987, and is a member of the Florida Bar.
